SCHOOL COUNSELOR OF THE YEAR AWARD | The School Counselor of the Year Award recognizes individual school counselors who devote their careers to serving as advocates for New York students, addressing their academic, social-emotional, and career development. In addition, we hope to be able to recognize school counselors in each region. These individuals influence the school counseling profession through leadership, advocacy, and collaboration and will be encouraged to represent New York at a national level once recognized. |

Nominations can be made by the nominee or a colleague of the nominee. |
ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR | The NYSSCA Administrator of the Year Award recognizes a department, building or district leader who has provided outstanding support to the school counseling profession. Nominations can be made by the nominee or a colleague of the nominee. |
